At Aruka Fiji, we believe in the power an stability of community. Based in Suva, our mission is to restore hope and dignity to widows and children through practical support, education, empowerment and compassion.
Join us in Making a Difference

Head to our Contact page and fill out the form provided to register your interest. Someone will then be in-touch to see which scheme you are suitable for.
2.
Acceptance and orientation. We require individuals to be as dedicated to the cause as we are, and once accepted, you will be introduced to your role and the team around you.
3.
Start making a difference! Once you are trained and comfortable in a role, you can begin helping others right away.
What we Look for
1. A compassionate and respectful attitude
2. Reliability, open-mindedness and a willingness to learn
3. Experience in education, social work, health or psychology (a bonus but not required!)
4. Most importantly: commitment to our mission of love, dignity, and empowerment
Why Volunteer?

Skills and Empowerment
Work to uplift people who were previously destitute or struggling and provide them with the skills they need for the future.
Healthcare
Monthly evening clinics are provided for the homeless and vulnerable, volunteers are needed to keep them open as judgement-free spaces
S/W Networks
Work with women and children who work as sex workers and help with their journeys towards a more stable and safe future.
Communal Rehabilitation
Aid in the rehabilitation of vulnerable and marginalized individuals who find it beneficial to heal and restore together.
